I only thing they look great in a car that's been made to look (or drive) like a rally car. Don't like them in normal road going cars :/

think it can finish off an interior nicely, get one and see what you think if you don't like it can always sell it on
  6. #6
think they look good in a saxo like set the interior off

If I crash my car I definitely want a big lump of shitty metal knocking about behind my head, that will probably bend and break off it's mounts

  11. #11
    nope don't do it!
  12. #12
Im against them tbh, mainly because they're dangerous and a bit pointless. But there's a nice original nova around where i live with one and i must admit, it does look alright with it.
  13. #13
do it! i actually think they look smart
  14. #14
    i think yes
  15. #15
Bit pointless really only get a roll cage if your either doing rally driving/track driving in which case get a proper 1.If you want something that looks like a scrap shopping trolley welded together then do it,end of the day though it`s your car.

    Steve.

    They are abit marmite

me personally? i like them, i own one but havent got round to fitting it
not really on top of the "to do" list

people saying they arent as good as real cages.. DUH!! thats not the point

its a SHOWcage for SHOW - does what it says on the tin

    Showcage gets my vote.

Abit like tattoos then.. people still get them
  20. #20
a show cage is a car accessory. A tattoo is a body cosmetic. Tattoos have a meaning and referencial culture, sometimes even religion among some people, not sure about saxo cages.
  21. #21
not all tattoos have meanings, some people get them for the lulz

Anyways off topic, i would have a show cage, i wouldnt have a tattoo

nearly everything you mod is either for looks

OP: i think depends what colour the cage is going and if you ever have people in the back. with your old white wheels and a white cage then yes. with your current colour wheels, what colour would the cage be?

i had this decision so bought one for the lols, fitted it, thought it looked pretty good but as i cart around rear passengers every weekend it proper gets in the way for anyone in the back.

you know there's an engine and suspension etc in cars ?
  24. #24
ofcourse, but things like alloys, spoilers, headlights, debadging, smoothing, spacers, etc. is all money spent for looks

    haha good point

still a waste of money imho
  27. #27
a shit cage is more dangerous than no cage at all, so its not just cosmetics for the sake of it that doesnt affect anything else, its a cosmetic add on that is actually dangerous.

  31. #31
All depends how your saxo actually looks imo some suit it some dont also depends on the colour i would most probally not have one unless it was a real cage
