Wheel studs.

So my old steelies are 14s. Just bought some new 15 alloys. Except they're without studs. Will my old steelies studs fit the new alloys? Please help. Thanks

Anyone know? I have no idea if it's possible

Do you mean bolts? They will probably be to short, they will fit in but not as far as they should.

Yeah I meant bolts sorry! Hmmm. In that case could I just pick some up from say Halfords or something?

you can have tapered bolts and flat bolts long and short so i would check when you get them or read specifications

No specifications as bought second hand. How can I tell if they're tapered or flat? What does that even mean Cheers

Seriously though, anyone ever put bolts from a 14" set of wheels on a set of 15" wheels? Don't want to risk it without knowing :/

tapered means where the bolt sits inside the hole on the alloy wheel its like \ / your original bolts will probably be tapered if they are steelies, and flat obviously just means where the bolt sits in the alloy its a flat surface, don't risk putting your steel wheel bolts on alloys coz they will most likely be too short and will be dangerous. buy new bolts.

never use steel wheel bolts on alloys
