Important! : eml light on

   was driving down a1 yesterday at about 70 when i realiesd the eml light had iluminated pulled over to side turnd car off and started it again light is still on car still drives like it used to bfor light came on and it dont feel any difrent it was raining verry hard at time and my air filter is located beside radiator tucked down infront of powerer stearing resivour was wondering if this had anything to do with it could it have been sucking water in and would this set eml light on ny ideas would be a real help iv cheked all sensors that i can see the all looked fine grrrrr help hate lights on dash

   what petrol you use ? mine did that when i put tesco fuel in then put shell fuel in after i got light taken off and it was fine

   i put shell in the other day it was the fuel saver stuff first time i used it tho i looked just two mins ago and there is a little black box thing connected to the bolt were u remove the coil pack witch has got some sealent on it a dont no wat it was but wen i touched it the black end fell off

   Other than getting the car hooked up to a diagnostic`s machine to read any fault codes no.It`s funny though whenever I fill up at Asda the EML light comes on.

   had the car hooked up to obd2 reader today came bk that the cat has gone could it jst be the lamda sensor or better off changeing the cat lookin fo a 4 into 1 so if any 1 no were 1 is goin 4 cheap let me no cheers

   Pretty sure that`s a surpessor capacitor stops electrical interference.

   yeah cheers mate found that out today aswell u no were a can get a cheap 4into1 manifold can u put them on a phase 2 saxo the 1 withthe cat in the manifold

   yeah you can but it will de-cat your car, so chances are the eml will be on unless you put the second lambda sensor in a sleeve so its reading clean air.
