Dodgy Drop Links... Have i been robbed?

  1. #1
So i bought some new drop links yesterday to replace the old ones, because all the rubber has split on the top and bottom.

Bought 2 new ones, and when ive got home, 1 of the packets was already open and the rubbers are in just as bad condition as my existing one!

My question is, is the rubber important, because i cant imagine a shop selling rotten one's?

Ive tried ringing them, but they closed at 12pm today, so it'll have to wait till tomorrow. The other drop link is perfect though?

Got it changed at the shop today, tried fobbing me off saying it was a Warranty part, and shouldnt have found its way onto the shelf, ha.

So new Drop Links to be fitted on Saturday! Whoop!

opened a box of Transit pads once and found a set of shagged ones in there, usual trick of wankers sending parts back saying they didn't need them after all
