horn trouble!!

hi guys, im new on here , i have a orange/mango 99 west coast saxo, car going great apart from 1 thing the horn aint working, ive tried fuses after looking around for manual for it i realised that the fuse is the same as the cig lighter, problem being when i got the car at first the cig lighter never worked i only realised when one day i needed to use sat nav and cig wasnt working but horn was, so i pulled fuse replaced it cig working but now horn isnt weird i know but when i plugged sat nav in i used it for a bit put it away went to charge my phone a short time later i heard a bang fuse had blew but horn worked again weird i know so i changed fuse again and no horn but cig working so i tried disconnecting cig to see if horn works but doesnt is it faulty horn, faulty wiring or something different??

Make sure all the fuses are the right AMP or it can short or overload, when all the right fuses are in and still a few things are not working then check your earthing points in the car,
if they still dont work then maybe you may need to change the item that isnt working

Disconnect the horn,get someone to operate the horn button while you put a test lamp on the horn plug.If the lamp lights up your horn is faulty,if it doesn`t then either the horn button is faulty or you`ve got a break in the wiring.

thanks for the reply guys got it sorted, somebody tried wiring the earth into it aswell lol got a new horn and all is well, apart from the cig lighter isnt now working

cig lighter now working too was a break in the wire all is well now!! thanks for the help guys
