My gaz coilovers are wound all the way to the bottom on there lowest setting. is there anything wrong with removing the bottom adjuster in order to make it lower?
What happens if you remove one of the adjusters on coilovers?

#2you won't gain much maybe 5mm best of getting shorter springs
-
#3Seen it being done loads on other cars, should get more than 5mm..

#4as long as you have something at the base to lock the pan against its no problem
on some gaz kits with the collar that grub screws on (think thats the older kit) without the lower pan locking them together you could possibly have the pan vibrate off the bottom of the thread
my h&rs are assembled like that with the pan wound down onto the weld as were my last set of them -
#5cheers guys. will it lower it basically about the same amount as the thickness of the adjuster?

#6As Alex said, as long as there's something on the bottom to lock the adjuster, there should be no problem.
But I know some kits, like mine they don't have nothing at the base so the adjuster rings can spin off when driving. -
#7you need atleast x1 spring retainer left in for spring to sit on..

#8well at the bottom of the threaded collar is the steering rack arm, so would that be alright?
