help!

    hey guys been away all weekend, cars been sitin at my mates house. drove home today and the steering was bad so thought maybe because its sat for 3days without moving it would go back to normal after 5 mins but was still heavy when i got home so checked under the bonnet and could see something was leakin behind the engine. do you think its the power steering pump fluid? had no odour so pretty sure its not oil. any help would be great??

    have you checked the PS fluid level?

    just checked mate! its Empty new power steering pump??

    put some new fluid in and check where its leaking may be a new pipe other than pump

    ok will top it up c what happens. is it ok to drive with no power steering? where do i get fluid?

    at your local car shop duh. Yes you an drive on that, it's just a bit harder to drive but less noticeable at speed.

    Check all the piping around the PS pump, probably loose or rotten. shouldn't cost you much to fix mate
