Hmm food for thought.... i wonder if john could do it for around 3k.... considering i have some of the required kit already bolted on.....

    supercharge the bike lol

    hard decision

IMO keep the bike and keep the car as it is

  4. #4
why would you want to sell ur bike for supercharged saxo ? seems mad to me your bike is so much more fun and faster ? :s
  5. #5
sell the bike and the kit you have, and turbo the saxo
  6. #6
don't sell the bike. good to have both worlds in your life. you'll miss the feeling of the bike. or more likely miss having the option to ride it

I have a Clio turbo for daily drive.

    Turbo no fanks.

Anyone on here have a bike.

Have a bike licence, but no road bike. I've raced 125's for years and now 600's.

Keep the bike. Nothing beats a bike for the pure fun factor.

keep the bike mate and just save up for the supercharger/turbo
  11. #11
dont sell the bike mate, you will be gutted if you do, im a biker and its killing me having to wait for my insurance to come through to get tax lol

I have to join people on the keeping the bike front.

If I had the money to I would have both a car and a bike but being an apprentice doesnt help

Even if you charge the sax I personally wouldnt think it would be as much fun as a bike.

a charged saxo is awsome fun. just as fun as a bike just for different reasons m8

Ive just got rid of my gsxr 600 and I regret it already. I've been in mates skylines, evo's and my mums porsche. Nothing you ever drive will compare to my bike.. 0-60 in 3.3 seconds, 87mph in first and Will hit 160 in about 13 seconds. Nothing you do to a Saxon will match that.. * goes off to cry into his fastbikes mag*...

keep the bike till you learn some sense or fall off it and it starts to hurt too much --bikes are for the young --you don,t mend as easy as you get older ,so keep the bike and as start to feel a little more mortal --then a mental fats car --worst thatusually happens is you end up with a bent motor and not crippled or dead .
    .
or change to a cruiser and just enjoy biking or keep it for the track ,at least there will be an ambulance handy .
and before you say you dont, fall off it --if thats the case you ain,t going hard enough -I have had bikes of all sorts and I don,t see the fun in doing 160 in a stragiht line ,my granny could do that
bikes are about cornering ,so why not a 250 and ride the tyres off the rims --.
tyre + chains will last longer and cost less and you will still enjoy it just as much --corner speeds wil be just the same if you can really ride--the edge is in the same place on a 250 as it is a 600 o
remember what doctors call bikers --"organ donors"

DONT SELL THE BIKE. i sold mine a few years ago had and 2002 r6. and at the time was a good idea got a car etc all good. but now i regret it, and they are going up in price so i cant afford one yet . save up for the turbo for the saxo and then use the bike for speed in the measn time .

keep the bike. simple. you wont be able to have as much fun for so cheap with a charged saxo.
