saxo vtr problems mk1 (imobileser disconecting)

    have a mk1 vtr it has a different ignition barrel off a pug xsi so whenever imobiliser is armed i have to pull cowling down and put original key near the transponder to deactivate it is this the black box i have to disconect?




    also the car is overheating and there is a drip of water falling from the bottom of the fan belt

    have discovered that is is the bottom rad hose leaking as its catching on the bottom pulley

    thats the imobliser box i do belive you have to have the car running or it will lock the ecu.

    as above, with car running,disconnect the immobilser box and throw it a long long way

    so have car running disconnect box then switch off and then it should be done yeah
