   hi ive just brought a v reg saxo vtr. it has lumpy tickover and the revs build up really slowly and the wont rev past 4000. ive cleaned out idle valve and throttle body, checked timing any others ideas please

   I'm no expert but might be the spark plugs. Could be wrong though.

   Try a new fuel filter,I had the same problem with my vts a new fuel filter sorted it.

   Would deffo try the fuel filter, heard of this happening a few times due to that, plus they are only a couple quid and easy to change so worth a try!

   cheers was going to test the fuel pressure today anyway so i mite aswell change the fuel filter

   Is it misfiring or just down on power? Could be coil pack

   to begin with it was just down on power then it started missing aswell and now the missing has gone and is jus down on power

   so just took my fuel pressure and was 54psi. een told its ment to be around 42 . goin to try change fuel filter looks very old.
