Changing to Mk1 spoiler

   Just went out to fit my Mk1 spoiler and when i tried to take the Mk2 off I see that it's bolted into the actual rear window glass. When I take it off shall I just fit some rubber bungs into the holes, kind of like the ones used on de-wipering?
   
   The Mk1 spoiler fits onto the metal of the boot hence why I want to fill the holes left of the window

   Leave the mk2 one on imo.
   
   or do as you said, fit grommits and tiger seal the new one on.

   Rubber bungs are an option or if you don`t want rubber bungs then buy a tailgate in the same colour with the mk1 spoiler on(seems drastic)I know just another option though.

   Yeah just put two grommits in the holes, thats what i did
