Coilover collar seized.

   Not on a saxo.
   
   The coilover collar that holds spring is seized.
   
   Ive got the locker loose underneath.
   
   I can move the seized collar up. Very slowly as the spring is compressed.
   With hammer n c spanner.
   But I it won't let me go down.
   
   It's either shagged the threads or stuck
   
   Ive tryed
   Pb blaster
   Censol
   Wd40 incase
   Duck oil
   Plus gas.
   
   N nothing.
   There still very tight.
   
   Any ideas?
   
   Apart from grinding collar off n getting a new one?

   Grind it off or heat it (might not do the damper much good though if you heat the oil so be careful)

   Are the springs compressed between the two spring pans or is it lose?

   spring is sitting on the collar but i can move the spring with my hands.
   
   ive ordered some new collars to grind off for tomorrow.
