ive got this problem where my car is takin really ages to drop the revs when changing gear, coasting or even sat still if u press the accelorator from whatever u rev it to it will just take ages for the needle to drop, ive swapped Icv, map sensor, coolant sensor. just swapped the coolant one today and now I can hear water swishing about behind the dash! does any1 have any suggestions coz ive ran out of ideas now
what the hell is wrong with my car?!

#2Sticking throttle cable or butterfly? Sounds like you've airlocked it too replaced the coolant temp sender

#31st you need to bleed the coolant 2nd did you initialize the ICV before starting the car?IE ignition on/off 3 times before starting the car,otherwise the rev`s will be high.

#4the throttle cable and butterfly both seem fine and I don't think its that coz it does it mostly when the engines warmed up, just tried another crank sensor aswell off a mates car, the swishing sound seems to have gone now allthough I may replace the coolant sometime anyway as Im unsure if its ever been done.

#5how do I bleed the coolant or do I need to replace the whole lot? cheers.. oh and yeah I did initialize the icv.
