my rear axle is on its last legs, its the bearings how much to get it fixed or is it not worth it ,this is just a2b car and arent that bothered about it .can it be done for a couple of hundred or should i just scap it .it does have mot and tax and the rest is ok maybe a bit tatty but pulls well

#3You can risk it and buy a used beam from a scrappy for around £100, but chances are that won't last long and you will be in the same position.
Therefore, as mentioned above, best bet will be to buy one from im axles. More expensive, but you know you will be getting a freshly refurbed beam of very good quality, also with the added bonus of a guarantee. -
#4only paid 400 quid for the motor but not gonna get another one with a good axle for that price ill check them out otherwise im gonna break it

#5An axle specialist local to me fully refurbishes rear beams for £250 and that includes lowering aswell (if you want it to be lowered that is), ask around your area if there are any similar sorta garages!

#6i got a beamoff here for 60 quid and its doing great, pretty easy to fit aswell.
