Important! : Grinding noise

   My 1.4 westcoast is making a very loud grinding noise from the front end does anyone know what it could be and what to do to get rid of the noise??

   could be a number of things mate give us some more info, is it constant does it get louder when you drive
   
   its prob a wheel bearing

   Could be brakes, clutch, bearing, possibly even engine. Need much more info of where abouts it is. When you can hear it and what makes it worse

   well it makes it when i am slowing down and does it in gear and with clutch down and while rolling. i have been told it might be the joint near the wheel but im not very good with driveshafts and gearboxes so????

   It's either a wheel bearing needed or a new gearbox. search on ways to check the bearing and the types of noises it makes. If not then its a new gearbox im afraid. Take out the drain plug from gearbox n probs full of metal filings

   Put new stunt pegs on.

   had a mechanic look at it and he said it needs to new wheel bearings and the person i brought it off had tried to put greese near them to stop the grinding noise thanks for help anyway.
