16v conversion loom

  1. #1
Im half way through converting my 1.1 to 16v. Just wanted to know if I have to change the interior loom as well as engine loom ?

    Thanks

No, the 16v loom is a straight fit on some models and needs the pins slightly re-configured on others, but the interior loom can stay.

The engine is out ov x reg vts with a metal oil fillter, single plug ecu. Car is y reg, originaly paper element and three pin ecu. However the vts loom physicaly plugs straigt into the 1.1 interior loom

Pin order different in that case, will need to be re-configured and water temp gauge can't work on your dash, so a decent aftermarket one is a good idea. Re-pinning the plug is something you can do yourself if you're handy enough to suss it out, but if you don't fancy it, PM me, if you send both looms untouched, I'll correct the VTS one as required.
