Important! : Price quote on: Spark plugs & coilpack?

    my car broke down earlier, engine management mode light came on and it could barely move... took it to a local garage and they said it needs a new coilpack and set of spark plugs, but can't be quoted until monday as their supplier is shut..

    just wondering if anyone has any idea of how much these parts are and how easy they are to do/replace? (basically will it be a 3+hour job or not )
    any help would be much appreciated thanks

    Tom, do it yourself.
    Go on ECP, put reg in and get prices. Plugs I would say £10ish for 4 http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Ci...37c3c4293&SPKP, coilpack around £80ish for decent Valeo one http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Ci...5121379f3&IGCO

    EDIT: Links added (used reg from a 2001 VTR I have. Check your own though mate), prices not far out for a guess, im good As Steve said, takes around an hour. And you dont need to be a mechanic to figure out how to do it
