another PAS question...

   searched but not really found anything. my power steering pump has suddenly started coming on on the first turn of the key ? usually comes on when the engines started! any ideas why it could be doing this ?

   Mine does this,you might have a dodgy relay.Never bothered me tbh.

   will change the relay and see what happens then. spose it isnt a problem if ignition isnt left on. cheers for the reply

   Did you ever sort this mate? as mine comes on with the 2nd ignition click and no battery light...then later the same day it started doing it my battery died, guessing the PAS pump being on drained it a lot since the alternator isn't running without the engine on?

   i changed the relay which made a difference. still does it know and then but not as much. so in a way no i havent sorted it. will have a manual rack goin on when i get time!
