suspension struts

  1. #1
just got some standard 1.1 suspension struts im wanting to fit to put car back to standard, can some1 re-assure me in that these will fit before i take my car apart. i have a 1.4 furio.
  2. #2
maybe different strenght due to a slightly heavier engine in the furio mate. but someone should confirm this
  3. #3
    Should be fine.
  4. #4
i would imagine it should be ok...
  5. #5
Do furio's have drop links? If they do the 1.1 struts wont have a place for them to bolt onto but should be fine if not
  6. #6
im sure all saxo's have drop link's on them dont they?? because they all have from ARB's, these struts have mounting points for drop link's just wondered if anything else was different like driveshafts used.

Minor models have the arb mount on the wishbone.

Just how many stud they are, and the normal driveshaft rule applies - early non tapered, late - tapered.

Furio would have the drop link type ARB.

The 1.1 struts would not have the correct bit on the strut to allow the use of a drop link ARB.

If all you are trying to achieve is to return the car to standard height then you could just swap the standard springs and dampers from the 1.1 struts and transfer them to the existing Furio strut legs.
