So I bought some wheels recently off gumtree from these people who said the wheels would fit a Saxo. Offset and everything matched, bought them, just tried to fit them and they don't fit the hub at all. They're like a few mm - 1cm too big when sat on the hub axle. Wtf do I do, do I get my money back, has anyone else had this problem before, is there a wake around it? Like I say, the studs match up, just the hub ring on the alloys is too big to fit my 1.1. Please help

#5[IMG] http://i455.photobucket.com/albums/q..._8250489_n.jpg [IMG] This is one of the wheels. The cetral hole basically just doesn't fit on the hub, there's still space for like a little finger. Where as my old steelies ofcourse fit properly on tight. Is there any way around this at all with some type of spacer or something? :/ Thanks for helping

#6Oh, and btw, the gap there looks like it may fit, but it opens and widens up from behind. You could probably fit the wheel on the hub, if it was the wrong way round, which is of course no use to me at all! But yeah it widens out from behind, I could get a behind pic

#7I mean, the first thing I asked was "What car were they originally on" his reply was "A saxo" so I naturally assumed, assuming saxos all fit together, (VTS and VTR wheels fit 1.1s) that it would fit fine.

#8You need spigot rings mate, basically they change the centre bore of the alloy (the hole in the middle) to the size of the hub on your saxo. Just mesure the centre bore on the alloys to the nearest mm then find out the size of the saxo's. They are probably only £5. Ive even got some sat about if they are the right size you can have them.1 user thanked this post:
