rust under ecu

   was taking my engine mount off and noticed i have a hole under the ecu
   
   1 is it a mot fail
   2 can it be fixed with fibre glass/ filler or does it have to be welded

   1. depends on the mot tester/size of the hole
   2. all of the rusted area needs to be cut out and then get a plate welded in. very common problem

   theres a hole under my ecu tray, very very common, needs to either be welded of have a new inner wing welded in, its funny, because even tho i have that hole, the rest of my car is mint!

   its usually within 30cm of the suspension mount so would fail an mot if spotted by the tester! wants a plate welding rather than just hiding it! would check the other side too under the fuse box
