starting problems on a 1.1 saxo helppp

   a friend of mine cant start her car
   when you turn the ignition round you can hear the starter motor engaging but the engine will just not fire up. we tried bump starting and nothing. and she had half a tank of fuel.
   
   anyone know what this might be?

   Can you hear the fuel pump priming?
   Try the fuel cut off button under the bonnet?

   Can you get a video of this problem? i think i had the same problem on my old car it could be the neutral cable that could have come loose

   What car is it? Could be something to do with the immobiliser?
