New wishbones problem

Bought some new wishbones and they been delivered the other day when I got them had a quick look and thought yeah all looks ok, but on closer inspection ive noticed that the rear bush (the one that bolts on inside the car footwell) isnt quite on as far as it should be by about 3-4mm should I just send them back and get them replaced or would they knock on with a hammer or something since its only a few mil? cheers
