When i try to play a Cd in my car it doesnt always work straight off... Sometimes it takes me like 10 trys to get a Cd working, and even then it goes awol if i try to change tracks. I dont know what it could be....New Saxo owner, Only had the car a few days so don't know alot about them. Also When I managed to get a cd working, The pannel Showing tracks was extremely hot after about an hour of driving. Is this normal????????

#2im having a similar problem except the heat part on mine we just bought one too and sometimes it reads discs sometimes it doesnt, the volume decides itself if it wants to work or not and the function to ge tthe cd to play is also messing about, i put it down to naf headunit but maybe its sumthing else.

#3My dads Just hooked up a new Cd+Radio System to it.. Gonnar try it out and see if this one works any better. If not, or if its still overheating then must be something to do with the car or wiring.

#4if its overheating its definately either the unit or the wiring maybe have a look when you take the old one out.
