hi all ov a sudden iv got a strange noise coming from front wheel only does it now and then and only seems to do it when turning right, its a similar sort of noise when the wheels catch the arch but theres plenty of room there?could it be wheel bearing? thanks

Its hard to determin without hearing the noise but a check you could do yourself to elimiate if its the wheel bearing or not:

Jack the front of the car up, Holding the top and bottom of the wheel try and move it. if there is a excessive play then it will more than likely be the wheel bearing.

This is the bit i could be wrong on, if it make a noise when going right then its the left wheel bearing. (correct me if im wrong)

yeah making a whining noise going round left hand bends is the right wheel bearing and going round right hand bends is the left wheel bearing, when going round bends the outside wheel bearing is under the most strain as its the 'loaded' wheel. so yeah, so what ever hand bend you go round and it makes the noise, its the opposite side wheel bearing.

POP the bonnet and put your hand in and grab a driveshaft if there's play its on its way out.

This sounds more like a cv than anything. new driveshafts are relatively cheap, so no worries. check to make sure that the boots aren't split, if they are you will probably notice a lot of grease inside the wheel. change it before it gets much worse
