  1. #1
hi all im currently fitting my vts engine in to a 1.1 saxo im goign to start a little project thred but at the momment is it possible and if so do i need to change any thing to fit my mk1 vts clocks in a mk1 1.1 and i would like a temp gauge and also rev counter thanks

Everything will work so long as your using the vts ecu .Rev counter into a normal 1.1 then you need to run a wire from the ecu to the rev counter.

If your using the vts ecu then it`s plug and play.Only if you put vts clocks into a car running a 1.1 engine/ecu will you need to run a wire.Sorry if my 1st explanation was confusing(just woke up)

1 other thing you have to weld in an engine mount to fit the vts engine into the 1.1 as it doesn`t have the correct mount.

yep ive noticed that 1 and was going to have a little think in the morning the drivers side one ? from looking at the engines next to each other very briefley it looks as if it the 1.1 mount will fit on the vts engine if i swap the main engine plate if not ill just weld in the box section thanks
