quicksilver vs vtr

which car has the comfiest seats as standard?

i have a vtr at the moment and was just wondering if the quicksilver seats are any better?

    thanks

depends on the condition of the seats.

quicksilver seats are iirc the same as the 1.1 seats.

VTR seats will be more supportive.

How about vts seats? Much better than the quicky seats.

both types of seats are in very good condition, sorry forgot to mention that in my first post.

i was just wondering as people say that the quicksilver seats will fit straight into a saxo vtr and i thought they might have been better quality.

they are a straight fit. but made in the same factory, by the same people, using the same materials. no difference in quality

late mk2 vts seats are slightly different, they have airbags in the side bolsters.

mk1 / early mk2 vtr/vts all have the same style interior, just different patterns.

airbagged vts seats are fairly comfortable tbh. i drove a couple of long journeys on them with no dis-comfort.

I had a westie with the 1.1 style interior and upgraded to early VTS interior. much more supportive and comfy, the later ones have a different headrest iirc and not as nice.

the later ones have the same style headrest. and out of all the saxo / 106 interiors i've owned are the most comfortable. Saying that, my 1.1 interior was by no means bad.

    Were either airbagged?

Airbagged GTi seats are exactly the same as airbagged VTS seats.

ok, so its looking like either airbagged VTS seats or GTi seats then?

i prefer the mk1 S seats over the R seats, there similar but not the same,

i havent ever sat in an airbagged seat so i cant comment, but between the R and S id got for S

REALLY?! £20-£30 for all the seats.....and are they usually in as good a' condition as the ones i found?

if so then im not payin that, lol.

recliner buckets?....have you got any in mind?

have a look at my thread mate, I got a full set of early VTS seats, and all the door cards for £27 on eBay. Dont pay £75 for a set. The ones you're looking at are VTR seats, the early ones differ in that the VTR has a single back, and the S has a split bench with headrests which are a little more rare, and make it comfier for passengers then too.
  23. #23
These are the ones I'm on about...

ive got quicksilver seats front and rear and door cards and makes the whole inside look alot nicer and personally i think the quicksilver seats are supportive enough for everyday driving and will hold you to a certain extent and i pick up my mint condition quicksilver interior for a bargin of £27.00 lol cant compain . personally i think the all of the saxos seats look stupid they put stuid patterns on them
  25. #25
vtr seats are more supportive than the quiksilver seats, but the quiksilver seats have a better pattern on them.
Dont pay £75 for a set, theres so much of them around, people are literally giving them away.

by no means are vtr seats comfy compared to gti or mk2 vts airbagged seats. After i sat in my vtr seats after having gti seats, it felt so hard and uncomfortable, also had a higher driving position.

mk1 vts and vtr seats are both the same, except the rears on vts seats have headrests and a split rear bench.

mk2 vts airbagged seats are the best saxo seats to get imo

im selling my gti leathers for a very cheap £120 btw, pm me if you want more info/pics

I find the standard VTR seats comfty, done quite abit of long distance driving in them and I don't get back ache at all.
  27. #27
all saxo seats are 'comfier' than 106 seats excluding gti seats, as they have more padding and a slightly higher driving position but are less supportive than 106 ones, out of quicky and vtr id go for vtr.
But if i was you id save for some gti leathers
