Key ignition wires

   Hi all,
   
   I would like to fit an engine start button to my saxo vtr.
   BUT i dont want to be normal and use the key then push the button.
   
   I want to flick a switch for the first stage, flick a second for the second stage then press the engine start button for the third turn of the key when the starter motor is initiated .
   
   At the moment i have NO clue where to start.
   
   I have taken the ignition barrel out of the steering column , with the 6 wires that come out the back of it.
   
   WHAT DO EACH OF THESE WIRES EXACTLY DO/OR ARE USED FOR?
   
   and will anyone be able to assist me in this modification to my ignition system or have any advice?

   think this would be better in styling or ice section as im sure ive seen this mentioned before in one of them
