i think i have power loss :(

   hey guys once again another little problem well big for me.
   i feel like the car is somehow sluggish but i just dont have a clue why.
   
   i know 5 of 8 tappets need tightening but i dont know if that would cause it to be honest.
   
   any ideas what it could be?

   Could also be electrical,IE alternator or coil pack.

   dam man i have spent too much money sorting this car out so far not a good start
   but thanx for the suggestions. will try n get em checked at some point.

   could be 1 of a thousand things you will have to give us more to go on ie is it rattling have you checked the fuel dellivery are there any leaks anywhere when does it feel underpowered is it intermittent or permanent does it sound normal etc
   
   when was the car last serviced its amazing what some new plugs and a few filters will do that would be my first port of call if there is nothing out of the ordinary happening
