battery light flickers when i accelerate hard

    when im accelerating hard the battery light will flicker and sometimes the gauges will drop to 0 for a second. ive noticed as wel when i turn very sharply some warning lights turn on for a second. im not sure if its an earthing problem, but i looked under the bonnet and found a small wire that had rotted off, so i fixed the wire and attached it again, and its still doing it. any ideas? if it is an earthing problem, how would i test and how would i fix.

    Maybe the connector is fudged on the alternator, mine was bodged on, just went to the scrappies and got a new connector. Put it on and the problem went away. If its not the connector then im guessing the actual alternator needs replacing.

    which connector? there is 2 right?
