just wondering if anybody's intrested in getting parts skinned in carbon fibre. looking into doing a few bits for my car soon (ecu cover etc) streamline carbons stuff is good but to expensive IMO so am doing my own. and a few mates.

#3if you've never done it before then i wouldn't offer it up as a service just yet, takes alot of time and effort and paitence to get good at it and alot of experimenting with different resins/hardeners/clearcoats

#8There is nothing wrong with carbon mods resin its very good stuff. The problems start when people start to rush things and add more hardner to the mix to make it set faster. Making it brittle and cloudy.
I am no expert with carbon but i have worked with it enough to know that its pretty easy once its soaking with resin and pretty easy to mould to shape and around corners. It starts been hard getting the weave to all follow the same direction. This is why streamline carbon stuff costs a premium because they have the skill to get the weave correct every time.
