I have ordered 2 new lambda sensors and they have just asked me if my cat convertor is on my manifold or downpipe...... I HAVE NO IDEA!!! lmao...

i have a Saxo Mk2 52 plate..... no mods except lowered have been done please help......

you have the set up with the cat bolted up to the manifold yes. not under the car.

Great how did you know that? because i said the make and model of my car but they couldnt even fiqure it out! lol

because in the mk1 and mk2 engine's the cats are in a different place, and as u got 52 plate vtr mk 2 engine your cat is in mani

depends what car you have mate.
vts's - all cats are under the car
up to early 2001 all were under car
after 2001 i think april the cat were in the mani

if you've ordered two that surely should have been a give away only the mk2's with the cat in the mani have 2 lamba sensors iirc pre and post cat readings./

52 plate will definitely be CAT in manifold.

it depends what year it is mate, the swap over from mk 1 to mk 2 was round about 2000 i think so with cars from 1999 to 2001 could have either cat under neath or cat in the manifold. just depends, but as the OP said his is a 52 plate it will definatly have a cat bolted under the manifold and not under the car.
