    alreet,

has anyone has any problems with the lambda sensors, what it is is my saxo is goin for test on sat and i got a feelin its goin to fail on the emissions

i done a code read on it a couple of days ago an there was a fault sayin the cat was below threshold but the engine management light didnt come on but it reeks when its hot

its had three cats on it, the standard one an two aftermarkets, the standard was no bother at all, i changed it cause the flange was knackered and got a new cat, done a test on it bout 8months later an it would not go through gas test, got another cat under warranty an it passed no bother but now i think its gone again

anyone else had the same prob?

Get a geniune citroen one, maybe even second hand.

Pattern parts are known not to last, as prevously said.

pattern cats are shit last 6 months then need replacing at least its done under warrenty lol

if you suspect lambda you can test it by having he car running and tap into the wire DO NOT UNPLUG IT can't remember wich one it is i think you'll have 2 black and one white i think its the whie one you'll be looking for something around 0.3 v iirc

Think people are confusing the word pattern with patent lol.

But yeah, patent parts are other non-genuine companies' attempts at making parts.

You get what you pay for tbh.

Seems to be that Saxo lambda sensors are shite, just fucks the cat up quicker I guess.
Best bet is to decat it and find a friendly MOTer haha
