smoked headlights and fogs

  1. #1
when you smoke your headlights and fogs black does it make your headlights seem dull or are they just as good as standard?

    thanks
  2. #2
they will be slightly duller if you tint the actual lense, but most people seem to have just painted the inner casings and not touched the lenses. this looks far better imo
  3. #3
i want to do is the inner bit not the lense
  4. #4
If you spray the insert like this - guide

Then it won't affect the light's functioning at all, as that part doesn't actually focus/reflect any of the light... :Y:

what did you use to stick them back together mate? im doing my fogs at mo i used white silicone sealent to stick them back but it didnt work even after leaving them 24hours lol
  11. #11
i put the 2 halfs back together and heated up the glue and pressed down where i heated it up,helled it untill it cooled down and then moved on to the next bit and so on,could you not use black silicone that you get for sealing a leaking windscreen, the do it halfords, ive used it before on my old car and it works a treat.
