lambda Sensor

Hey, I hope this is in the right place as I’m a noob to the board.

This evening my partner was driving her Saxo when the Lambda sensor broke off the exhaust front pipe. I'm pretty certain this is whats happened. There is now a hole in the pipe and the piece of piping that came off attached to the sensor.

Does anyone know if I'm able to get this welded back on or do I need to buy a new front pipe?

yeah you should be able to, if you can unscrew the sensor from the piece of metal that has broke away from the exahaust then remove the exhaust you should easily be able to weld it back on mate.

    Cheers for the replies guys

I think it's being taken to the local garage in the morning, I just dont want them to try fob me off with a new exhaust. I'd like it fixed as cheap as possible.

any decent garage should be able to weld it mate, unless its a kwik fit or something like that, them monkeys will just replace everything cause they dont have a clue how to repair anything.
