Can i drive like this?

    Well took the rear wheel off today to tighten up the ARB plate (again) but now 1 out of the 4 bolts just keeps spinning am i ok to drive with 3 bolts tight and 1 of them just in there?

    Before i had the saxo i had a gen6 celica and the back brakes were nackerd and when i took it in the garage the broke the locking nut and they said i was ok to drive it with just one nut missing they said it wont do anything ? dont know if that helps you out but i drove it like that for ages and had no probs .

    gives me a little bit of hope , its in for its MOT on saturday so ill just mention it to them

    to be onist i cant see one nut making any diff but some one will be along soon to tell you.

    should be fine to drive with if the others are tight. id want to get it sorted for peice of mind though. when my mate bought his gti it only had 3 wheel bolts in each wheel, he went weeks before buying a set of locking nuts lol and nothing went wrong

    Thats all good then , Im buying a new set this weekend so just hope it holds out haha

    Yeah it's fine, you've proberly cross threaded the bolt, have a look at the thread on it and see if some layers are worn down.
    If they are just buy a new bolt or put one of your spares in if you got any.

    You should be okay but if you`ve cross threaded the bolt then chances are the bolt hole thread will be stripped.In which case you may have to re-tap it.

    mines the same as this, i just want to get it out so i can replace the bolt, but i cant atm :/

    they will have designed it with 4 bolts for a reason

    i drove a good 4 hours with only 3 nuts in each wheel and it was fine and the 3 were still tight. (I didn't know as i had just bought the car, the guy had obv taken the locking wheel nuts of or something an not told me -.- )
