key fob not working :(

   my vtr key fob isnt working i replaced batteries and it still isnt working just wondering if anyone nos what the problem is, the main dealer citroen want £99 for key fob and £45 to progamme it in haha.

   Ive got the same problem mate, replaced batteries and the light flickers, but doesnt do anything. My Citroen garage want £66 +VAT to do it, rather just use the key, ha

   take it apart (ply apart with a knife) and attached to the underneath of the battery is a silver plate.. make sure the two sensors as such are as high as possible cos when you press the button it may not be getting contact with the sensors? if that made any sense lol
   literally did mine 2 mins ago as i just bought a new key fob from ebay!

   I'd imagine that if it wasnt touching, you wouldnt get the red light blinking, but i have?

   Oh i think ive got the wrong end of the stick, im talking about the central locking Fob???

   yeah so am i lol mine never had light? not that i noticed where abouts is light?

    Ha, is yours the one with 2 buttons?
    
    If it is, have you tried unlocking your car with the key, then pressing the bigger button twice within 20 seconds?

    yeah mine has 2 buttons and yea i have tried that but nothing
