Spraying widemouth front bumper

  1. #1
    Hi Guys!
I bought a gold vtr bumper a while ago and have been cutting it and smoothing it for a widemouth.

Thats all gone well until i came to spraying it

Its all been sanded and primed (in white).

Used my paint code EZRC and got told to use "Artic Steel" but the colour doesnt match my car, its more of a very light blue

Ive used three cans of primer and 3 cans of Spray paint.

Anyone no were ive gone wrong?
Can post pics of the bumper next to my car if it will help.

    Thanks!!

I had my toe eye on the rear filled in and my bumper sprayed by a guy we get our bodywork done at and i found out that even though a paint code could be 'EZRC' there can still be like 8 different colours for that code alone just to make up for colour fade over the years etc, also spraying on to plastic bumpers never come out a perfect match to metal paintwork. ive been noticing that even some 11 plate cars can have completely different colour bumpers, but you dont notice it untill you look harder
    hope that helps mate
