Important! : Identify These Wheels Please

  1. #1
Selling these so need to know if they are rare or whatever i know they need refurbing but hey anyway if someone knows please let me know and you may need to zoom in to see the markings on the inside thanks

  2. #2
If you zoom on the inside of the wheel there are markings on the spokes like RW i think franchorchamps made in belgium etc etc so anyway thanks in advance
  3. #3
If people are not able to see the inside of the wheel markings please post here or PM me because my GF just got a proper camera so i can get a shot from that and not my shite phone cheers.
  4. #4
Some sort of BBS Alloys maybe?
  5. #5
If they were BBS's they would have markings, look like ripspeed wheels to me
  6. #6
Look like some halfords wheels mate
  7. #7

maybe he's a tall bloke? judging from ur posts everythin is a "chav mod" according to you lol
  9. #9
    how mutch?
  10. #10
Right thanks to the people who can act like a adult for a second and actually posted something helpfull.

Second the seats are like that because the car has loads of bits inside the car atm! and is for track so i dont drive it evrywhere.

And to the people that say halfords what makes you say that or ripspeed? i mean thats my guess to but ther markings on the back - rw - franchorchapms - which is a race circuit for those that dont know - also made in belgium etc etc and m not sure on a price as i am waiting to find out what they are mate.

If anyone can give me a 100 percent or needs clearer photos i will try my best to get a pic of the inside agaiin with proper camera

Bumping - Also i have just taken the wheels of today and get the pro camera tomorrow so will post some decent pics and hopefully we can identify these wheels need them gone asap
  12. #12
In this photo the top spoke reads Made in Belguim.

The middle spoke reads Franchorchamps 1.

And the bottom reads a code of - 6Jx14H2

And in the centre you can see - ET 18

One of the code and weird part on the right which reads 98 or 86 in a weird circle.

In this photo the left spoke is blank and the one that folowws reads - 10.8 OIT
    L.K
The next spoke reads E29 A

    And then RW

Please someone identify these asap or lead to me where someone can thank you in advance
  13. #13
The code in a circle your on about is date of production, i would imagine its 98 and there should be an arrow to the month of production as well.
  14. #14
:o if these where made in 98 and are in this goo condition fabrication wise im shocked i know they need a blast down and pant but the metal side of things is mint for that old anyway

And thanks gonna have a look in my hallway just now at them
  15. #15
No mate there s nothing else next to them to say the date so would that mean its not the year of manufactuerer?
  16. #16
Alloy compounds aren't the most resiliant of metals and so if over time the lacquer has been damaged or removed etc etc they will corrode quite quickly
  17. #17
hmm well the outside is a little corroded but the inside markings on all 4 alloys are very thick and very clear, its only because of the differences in colour that ts hared to see them

Do you know of any wheel professonals?
  18. #18
I know of a few my way, but do a quick search online, bound to be plenty around although i did refurb my own with some help of a mate
  19. #19
I dont mean for a refurb mate i can do all that i meant to try help identify them?
  20. #20
my housemate tom5190 has some RW wheels
  21. #21
Have done a quick search rw is a german wheel manufacturer RIAL Leichtmetallfelgen, current range shows a very similar wheel with 7 twin spoke design rather than 8

Edit: They have also produced some designs based on bbs wheels from what i've seen
  22. #22
Love the rw wheels on the 1.1.

And also thanks ads should i check them and i assume they must be RW wheels then
  23. #23
Have a look and see what you think, i'd assume they are RW's as that was all i could find although it was only a quick search
  24. #24
Okay mate thank you and sorry for slow replies real busy atm thanks again
  25. #25
Is the wheel you thought looked similar the one with anthracite centre polished lip named - NOGARO?
  26. #26

That's the one i was looking at yes, does appear to be very similar
  28. #28
RW wheels were a belgian wheel company stopped trading end of 90's iirc.
  29. #29
Ahhhh they do look similar but not 100 percent enough for me and im sure someone would be looking for them then if they dont even trade anymore if they where them but yeah.

Really gettng on my tits now just want to know what they are
  30. #30
Mate do they have a centre cap if so you got photo with them on
  31. #31
No mate no centre cap unfortunatelly
  32. #32
Me mums moaning allready about them being in the hallway and have no other storage
  33. #33
Could be a set of AEZ wheels, i dont think they are ripspeeds as they are 1998s from the markings and I dout they would still be on the road.

Look a fairly decent set of wheels tho mate
  34. #34
Thanks venns it is kinda tempting to keep them but 3 sets hahaha thats a bit much plus no storage.

But would be a really easy refurb and would look lovely imo its just the width that i dont like
  35. #35
I dont know how to use the wheelwhores site do you think someone on there could id these 100 percent kinda thing?

Had a search on both rw and aez can find similar but none the same
  36. #36
Some Pro Wheel whores are needed to find out what these are exactlly

  47. #47
Okay well f he fit then mne should fit they must be the same size :s

And i suppose its fair to say they are very rare wheels
  48. #48
What you think i could fetch for them then and would you say they are a rare set of wheels and should i sell them or keep them?
  49. #49
tbh they may be rare but i dont think a lot of ppl would by them tbh its not like there alley cats or any other highly sort after wheel i would keep them m8 or advertise them on the sale section and just ask for offers worth a try
