Saxo Rev Counter !

  1. #1
The rev counter on my vts has stopped working , i have checked the basics (fuse etc) and all is fine , the rev counter "works" every now and again as in when i rev the needle moves up the guage but not to the correct revs , i gathered it must be the sensor for the rev counter , does anybody know where this is located please ? and is it easy to replace.

Try Disconnecting the battery for an hour or so, then reconnect and see if it works

Im pretty sure it gets the rpm signal from the ecu ie: ignition. (someone on here will correct me if im wrong)

I would try replacing the clocks as i would think the rev counter is faulty,

Hope you get it sorted mate!
