Is this a bracket?

   When you take a front bumper off and look at the back of it their should be 2 black things on each end, what they called? i assumed it was a bracket but ebay showed me the white ones that hang just below the bonnet which are in place anyway... probably a dumb question but need to know as 1 side needs replacing.
