Desperate for 165/65/14R Wheels

  1. #1
Does anyone in west yorkshire know of anywhere I can get a 165/65/14R Steel wheel from...I have tried several times at the local scrap yard but not having any luck what so ever. Im starting to get desperate now as my nearside wheel is F**ked basically, looks like the person who had it before has kurbed it loads, tyres egged and has a slow puncture because of this...

Please help!! I have even looked on ebay but not having much luck

    Thanks

If you've got the dosh, go to a tyre place and buy a new tyre. Just replace the steelie when you can, as it'll only be the edge that's battered.

Well I could just buy a part worn tyre only £15 but the steelie is proper wrecked to the extent that I dont think just replacing the tyre will work because it's like a bit of the wheel is sticking into the tyre if you know what I mean?

    Thanks

Take the tyre off and hammer the bit that's bent in to the tyre or angle grind it off. It'll save you worrying when it might deflate...

Then replace with a part worn

edit: i'm an idiot, just misread the tyre sizes. mine are 175/65/14, didn't think they went skinnier than that on a saxo

    madness!

definately just get the steely touched up and get a new tyre. steel wheels are pretty sturdy, cosmetics aren't everything
