The load sensor valve seized, but i tried to unseize it with some wd40 and elbow grease... i sprayed some wd40 on it and cranked the arm back and fourth a bit and boom it works.. however when i cranked it back it pissed out fucking brake fluid.. it doesnt when i let go and it when pumping the brakes but when i pull the actual arm back it leaks.. do i need a new one or is this normal?
Brake load sensing valve.. Its peeing on my driveway!

#4Its not leaking anymore, the seals are all still intact i reckon, i pulled the arm back freeing it too far.. it wasnt supposed to go that way so its probably pushed too far out and leaked but it seems fine now?Quote:its busted and they are a tit to change, 30 pounds posted for a good used one
Imagine this is the arm - i pushed it:
______________
||||||||
||||||||
|||||||| ^^^ That way
whereas its supposed to go the other way. so pulling it the wrong direction maybe caused the piston or whatever to push out too far thus leaking? It doesnt do it when im not pulling it back -
#5its leaked once...it will leak again.
dont fuck about with your brakes! even more so, when you have already damaged it!
you start driving off down the road, a kid steps out in front... you aint going to be stopping.1 user thanked this post: -

Much like a drive shaft i have a sneeky suspicion that the only thing stopping fluid coming out is the seals and the fact it shouldnt be able to move out that direction..
And an abnormal movment; ie. moving it the wrong way, will allow fluid to seap from the seals no longer doing their job.
Its not like i can drive it as i have no mot.
now if you want to HELP me then post, if not kindly do one <3 -

#10There was a question mark on the end suggesting two minds about it, im reaching out on here for advice on the matter as it could be normal but im checking to make sure. Id rather not kill myself or someone else as the result of ignoranceQuote:that doesnt sound like you are too fussed about changing it...does it.
