Which gearbox will fit my 2001 1.4 furio?

   My gearbox needs replacing on my 1.4. But 1.4 gearboxes seem overpriced compared to 1.1 or the vtr boxes. Can I fit either of these onto it without any major performance issues?

   All gearboxes are interchangable but have different ratios, a 1.1 will guve quicker acceleration less tip end and vtr boxes are longer meaning slower accell more top end

   The gearboxes are straight swaps, however take off the sensors off your 1.4 gearbox, as you may need them.

   Thanks guys, at the last minute a 1.4 box turned up so put that in yesterday. Now the car moves but runs like a pig. Engine light comes on then starts flashing at me. Nothing to do with the gearbox, think i've just picked up a pig of a saxo!
