tailgate ratterling from sub

   I no its extreamly common on the lil hatchbacks but has anyone got passed this problem. its not the number plate or the top light it seems to be coming from the locking parts.
   
   Any surgestions would be appreciated

   cables inside the tailgate are another common source. Pull the trim off and take a look, taping cabled to the panels where you can. If you get desperate, nip to B&Q and get a can of expanding foam and fill the tailgate with it, then trim is flush, refit the trim and you'll be laughing

   well got behind there and seems the cables are fine (a roll of elecy tape and some cable ties later, seems when i put pressure on the central locking unit it stops... so will have to find a way around that.
   
   this also gave me a chance to dewiper the bitch.. nice simple mod
