Debating Painting the Underneath......

  1. #1
Spotted a few cars at FCS with the concourse clean car, ie painted underneath and keep debating it mysefl.

Where my spare wheel used to be (took it out for exhaust system) its started to look bit manky and thought id tidy it up anyways so it dont rust as there aint much of a coating there neways.

trying to figure out what colour?

Me cars euro style an black, bought a satin black to just clean it up but if i go concourse style an put the extra effort to clean it for shows an have mirrors on side an stuff to show it off... what colour you reckon?

spotted a Mint green style colour i wouldnt mind doing it, anyone got good ideas? i know some ppl have red car so do it red but black wont stand out much tbh.

yes i know its ball ache but im gonna do it neways as wanna look after it even if its not ALL of the underneath

its already black at mo and im doing it by brush as i dont fancy making mess with overspray so not gonna laquer it.

hammerite stuff is pretty solid so using that or similar stuff.

not much hard work involved tbh jack up an paint away plus may get the girl friend involved to help hehe and it needs doing neways

debated a anthrecite type colour as dunno if silver be too bright and shiny. debated pastel type colours

Anthracite will look good, not too bright like silver, but more noticeable than black. Go for it
