Engine Mounts??? Help Please

   Ok so sunday i was driving up to see my daughter, started car all was fine drove about half a mile and car sounded like exhaust had broken, pulled over and now when you touch throttle the engine twists front to back quite violently which is obviously putting undue stress on engine/gearbox etc.....
   
   Will this be engine mounts or something else?? Cheers Ads

   yes will be engine mounts. If it is violently moving back and forth most likely the ECU mount. (Driver's side mount)
   
   Get some uprated ones on there.

   The ecu one doesn't look overly healthy, would that on its own cause all the problem, if i try to drive it you can see gearstick move around where i'm guessing the bushes are worn??, there's been some slight play in gearstick since i bought the car, but since sunday the movement is a lot more noticeable if that makes sense?

   Lower engine mount? can you rotate the engine (roll it) front to back when you push it from front to back? (ie on the cam cover etc)

   Well i've ordered left/right engine mounts so hopefully they will sort out problem

   sounds likely to be them.
