aup karl, if by bouncing u mean comes back up after u lock it i might b able help as i had the same problem, all i did was take me door card off and sprayed wd40 everywhere, in the locking mechanism and even in the key hole, keep locking and unlocking as you do it and it should sort it out,

mine does this too, something is bent inside drivers door as the motor wont stay on the pin , all iv done is left my doorcard off and unlock it by hand

not been bothered to take the door card off yet as said previously it only does it sometimes, f.a.o danny what ive found is it locks n probs from the passenger lock try that mate. or just hold it round on drivers side.

If you take the drivers side doorcard off and get your hand inside the door there is a little black box that has the door pin attached to it via a white bit of plastic. It sounds to me like this white bit of plastic is coming off the black box when you try to lock. At this point try locking the door with the fob and see/feel if this is the case. If so all you need to do is twist the whole of the black box by 45 degrees to the right, which ensures that the white bit of plastic doesn't come off black box when you press the lock.

(Sorry for the lack of names of parts etc, but this sounds the same as what happened to mine last month and by doing this it sorted mine out and haven't had a problem since)

I had this for a while after i took my cards off...my release handle for inside the car had slipped sLIGHTLY out of its place..thats all it was.. just clipped it back into place and very carefully clipped the door card back on making sure i clipped it around the handle first so it was stable.

I've had both door cards off and all looks fine is there any other causes for this very very annoying problem

I no this might sound really stupid but if ny passenger door locks and unlocks ok is my problem on the drivers door I've even tried completely disconected both doors and and the boot in turn and trying and still does it is there a control module of any type?

i sorted this problem on my own car it turned out to be the wee black box that has the door pin copnnected to it so i got a new one and fitted it and everythings fine now

Mine seem to work fine well they go up and down a lot there must be a way to pinpoint what's causeing it

I can't do any of the above, i was sound deadening the doors, and this happened. I have stuck my hand inside the door, and it bounces up and down, i can't find a moving part to connect the arm too. Anyone help please?
