    Air lock in cooling system?

Were the heaters blowing hot air?
  3. #3
Erm when i had them on I had them on the.warm setting and it wasn't rly that warm.what would you.suggest?
  4. #4
    sounds like an air lock
  5. #5
Could that be because I had the engine changed so obv had to take all the radiator ect out.would that cause the air lock?do I.just bleed it then?
  6. #6
yes that would cause an air lock, bleeding the cooling system properly should solve the problem

Don't no if its worth mentioning but the top hose going into engine is hot and bottom hose cold....would that still point to.airlock?
  8. #8
I would still say you have an air lock as this stops the coolant circulating around the engine and radiator, If not you may have a dodgy thermostat not opening when its suppose too.

Cheers buddy will get that looked at now

just seen your other thread, yeah it was an air lock and water couldn't go around the engine.... hence why now you have a head gasket problem,

all the best on sorting the problem chap
