Throttle bodies

I was mooching on Ebay today and I found this badboy

    Clickty Click

The bloke seems to have gone abit mental spending what he did on throttle bodies as I found some on Ebay for alot less:

    Cheaper throttle bodies

I then wondered if anyone on here had any success with bike throttle bodies and if there worth the hassle as GMC will fit and supply for around the £1000 mark.

    Thoughts anyone?

Big thanks to Seanvtr81 who allowed me to produce such brilliant LINK titles

Have you priced the cold air filter box to use with tbs from gmc? If you just use trumpets and foam cover you will be sucking warm air that has come past radator (warm air) past the exhaust and engine block (Hot air) this all goes to ruduceing the air densatey and reduces power. Just about to make some upturned trumpets to see if I can take a cold air feed from bonnet direct to tbs

Ste stump up the cash and I will have a bash at fitting the second set to your car... instead of using my car as a guinea pig!... lol... although if I had the cash and inclination they'd be in my shed quicker than I could press "buy it now" lol... I realy want some TB's but can't be arsed to pay the odds

Well done Mr Beef, that's a very wise move.

Get yours up and running then we'll tackle mine but I'd quite like some cams to go in before the remap........

    Dear Santa...

    You Crazy fool!

as said about running them like that and hot air.

its the theory, but i have a rr printout here with gmc set up. it has a 2bhp drop off having them all in the box, removing the lid helped. obviosuly on a RR there is a bonnet up and a constant cold air from fan, but thought would cause a stir by adding my results
